This research Institute will address sanitation challenges through the following fields; Engineering, Microbiology, Chemistry, Waste and Waste Water, Public Health, Social Sciences.

To contribute to the University’s strategic educational and research activities with a view to embrace synergies between research, teaching and consultancy in sanitation.
